#19: The Reliance of Resistance

In the discovery of self

Comes the dark agony of pain.

And when I move forward, despite it

The gift of resilience is born.

Invisible mostly but full of power

Resilience builds deep roots inside.

Heading forward with faith and knowing

Resilience brings the self comes to light.

The harness and hurt are experiences I create.

To discern and recognize my inner strength.

And in choosing to come back with love,

I awaken to my truth and divinity within.

My love comes along with discomfort.

Like Siamese twins, they support each other.

Resembling a doting mother displaying tough love,

Resilience bridges the two to transcend my highest self.
